Everybody poops??
Okay, so everybody poops right? But, does everybody play in it?? Josh's Yia Yia (grandma) told me that every mom experiences their children playing in poop. If so, then this is the most disgusting right of passage for motherhood that I have been through.
The crib bars were "painted" with poop and everything was covered (including the floor). Gross!!
Growing up too fast!!
Accident prone??
On Sept. 28 Benjamin had his first visit to the emergency room. He and Josh were playing "chase you" after church in Selah and Benjamin tripped and hit his head on a chair. In the end, 2 stitches and a milkshake made it all better (bottom picture).
Less than a month later, on October 24th Benjamin decided to sneak up behind his daddy on a ladder and fell off. Back to the emergency room. After 5 days in a splint he now has a nice blue cast for the next three weeks.
He is VERY tough, and I think I have had the hardest time with the stress :).
Family Fall Hike
Uncle Ben, and Grammy and Grandpa Howie came to visit earlier this month and we had a beautiful hike at Mt. Spokane.
Feeding LukeUncle Ben carried Luke in the Maya wrap . . . he said it was very comfortable, but would prefer a camo pattern for a more manly look.
Grandpa carried Benjamin the whole second half of the hike--and I don't know who liked it more.
