A Day at the Lake

We have had a lot of fun with Jen and the kids. We spent an overcast morning at the lake, which was perfect for me in this pregnant stage and the kids still had a blast without the sun.

Snake Hunt

Josh and Benjamin had their first "snake hunt." Josh tried to save the snake to show Kendra and Bryce (cousins visiting from Oklahoma), but it escaped in our garage and he ended up cutting off its head. Didn't phase Benjamin though--and Kendra and Bryce still got to touch it :) (although Kendra was less enthused).

Potty Training

Grandma is potty training Benjamin! He loves the choo choo undies she bought him and cries if he pees in them--he's a smarty and is catching on really quick :). He reads very intently for a very long time before going  (like his father) and grunts theatrically while he "poo poos."

Summer Fun

Benjamin is having so much fun this summer--he is such a big boy now. He loves the water and has a blast swimming in grandma's pool and soaking in his new bathtub (a party tub we place in our shower).
